This project involved designing and building a natural gas processing system that takes unfiltered/processed natural gas straight from the well and prepare it for use in portable black start gas powered turbines. These black start turbines are shipped all over the world, mostly to 3rd world countries, to augment or bust electrical power grid loads.

The gas is supplied from a well with dirt, water and other impurities. This system is capable of removing the impurities and regulating flow and pressure to the gas powered turbine requirements. This project required designing and building 4 identical systems that could be bolted together when they arrived at their location. This processing system was sent to Africa.

My responsibilities on this project were to generate the base frames design to ensure easy assembly at the end use location. Plus oversee the the work product of other designers on the piping, controls and instrumentation portions. Once the design portion was complete I was assigned to oversee the construction of all 32 skids.
